I presently own a Vitamix Clasic C Series Blender and love it. I brought the S Series for a winter home based on my experience with the C Series and its compact size. What a disappointment. When using it on high speeds it vibrates so much it moves along the countertop. The cleanup it's not as easy as the C-Series. The container, the seal and blade have to be separated in order to clean. I notice an electrical burning odor when the motor is running on high for less than a minute. It does blend good. I would definitely buy another Vitamix, I just would not buy or recommend the S Series.

I already had the full sized Vitamin when I decided to get the little S30. The big one is on a shelf in the pantry because it is just too big for my counter. The little one is great because it can sit on the counter and I use it daily. It doesn't do everything the big one does - won't heat soup, and doesn't pulverize seeds. I love them both, and they both do a great job of certain foods. Once you have a Vitamin, you'll never buy another blender. They are built to last.

I bought this about a month ago. Our nutritionist at work has been providing healthy recipes and uses a Vitamix for some of the recipes. She said that you could buy a reconditioned appliance and I looked into it. I decided to purchase because I love to cook and thought I would get a lot of use out of it. I make smoothies almost every day and a frozen matcha ginger lemon tea to drink on my way to work. I have made homemade almond and coconut milk and raw marinara sauce that was amazing. I make a butternut squash soup and use the Vitamix to puree. The possibilities are endless and I am glad I made this purchase. It has been well worth it.
