I use this 32 oz pitcher much more that the larger ones. It is easier to get thick sauces and smoothies out. It fits under the cabinet on the counter. My Vitamix motor is about 15 years or more old and still going as strong as ever. It is my most used kitchen appliance. I even take it when I travel: smoothies in my little RV or hotel room. I do wish it was glass, instead do a polycarbonate. Or stainless steel.

This is my second 32 oz wet container. The first one, when I tried making smoothies or hummus, it would start shaking and moving across the counter. After a few communications, Vitamix replaced it no problem. Today I tried to make soft vegan butter and the second container is doing the same thing. Even using the tamper, it will not blend. I have a Vitamix 5300 and I wanted to have the smaller container for small batches, but it is basically unusable for anything thicker than water or salad dressings. I still enjoy my Vitamix 5300 but this 32 oz container is for looks only.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 32 oz container to be able to store the machine under the counter and because I usually only need to make smaller batches. What I discovered was that I cannot put more than 24 ounces in the container because when I use the smoothie setting it over flows because the lid doesn’t seal. The mess is even worse when I clean it using water and just a drop of dishwashing soap. The 64 ounce container never leaks even when I overfill it. For the price I expected the same high quality I have with the larger container and am very disappointed with this purchase.
