I didn't buy the DV player for myself, I bought it because I trust Sony, I liked the simple design and that it is black, it was for a friends birthday to use while travelling, he seems very happy with it. Thank you

This a superb little pice of kit. The picture and sound are brilliant.

This is a good DVD Player which when connected using the HDMI cable supplied gives excellent sound and picture quality. It has some very good features including restarting from where viewing was last stopped. The original player of this make and model which I purchased proved faulty with playing dropping out after a short while. This occurred during the first week of use and the unit was returned and a replacement supplied which so far has proved to work well. I have only given it 4 stars because of the problem with the first player but if it proves to be reliable I would rate this 5 stars - features, playback quality and value for money.
