We have had several coffee machines over the years. They have all been the manual type and they all seem to die after several years. Usually just after the warranty runs out. This new automatic Saeco Intellia evo is the easiest to use once you get it set up to your preferred coffee. Pressing the buttons to get your coffee is the easiest yet. Love it.

I've had this unit for so many years that I've lost count (probably at least 5-6). Compared to models I'd had previously, I've found the operation to be relatively simple and the maintenance to be fairly easy. The only problems I've ever had have been self-induced (like over-filling the hopper, then pressing the lid down, jamming the grinder chute with a whole bean) -- even in those cases, diagnosis was simple and I was able to correct the problems myself. I probably don't maintain the system with the frequency indicated in the documentation suggests but I've tried to stay on top of maintenance with this unit more than prior machines and doing so has really paid off in reliability. The shot quality (even with somewhat "oily beans") has been consistent over time. It really has been good value for the price. Even with the price of this unit and the cost of high quality beans from the local roaster, I'm having better quality, far more convenience, and huge cost savings over patronizing local chain coffee spots.

This is a great coffee maker. This is the best Saeco so far as I have had several over the years. This one has a feature that I like alot. The coffee is REAL HOT after brewing unlike the previous models I have owned. It also allows you to stop the water flow at anytime during the brewing to create an individual brew. I highly recommend this coffee maker.
