I had Philips steam iron & steam generator and now I add this ProTouch steamer. Would this a god sent to replace what I got? With my 40 years of ironing experience, I dare to say "NO". However, the Protouch steamer certainly achieved the specific needs especially delicate items like silk, wool, jacket even children teddy bears. I guess U got to weigh in why U want ProTouch GC625/20? Is it a bulky item? YES, require room to store. Is it pricey? YES, compare with normal steam iron and steam generator. Do the steamer create a loud sound? NO, U rest assure won't wake your baby up not even fur-babies. Well, I followed instruction, never before in my entire life to do this, determine to spend 90 minutes to steam anything under the guideline in order to see whether or not the watertank will dry up. Surprisingly NOT! Not even have any water leak or water spot on any different fabric garments. However, I unable to achieve any crispy look on business shirt. I found that very fiddly to steam on any shirt with long sleeves, collars and pockets, would be helpful if come with any accessories to assist the trouble spot. Honestly, I want this machine to fail because I unable to justify the price. After few attempts, I started to fall in love of ProTouch. Does it really one touch for sweat free or one touch for grief? Finally verdict: With 2 years warranty, ProTouch will STAY! For someone like me that don't enjoy ironing at all, every gadget do help. I never imagine myself would do what my nan did, touching up tea towels. LOL x ProTouch GC625/20 certainly will change the way how U feel about ironing. Thank you Philips for the pain and sweat U had offered, gone just one steam away! :o)

It heats up really fast, and it irons the clothes really quickly. It saved me so much time as it has its board already installed and the fact that the board can tilt gave me the option to iron different outfits. I would strongly recommend it.
