Not too heavy, heats up quickly, great steam and very easy to use

Steamer has revolutionised the time and effort wasted in the past doing ironing. I'd urge anyone with a family to get one. You won't regret it.

I bought this iron to replace an older model I loved. While the ease of refilling the tank was an excellent new feature, the constant dripping of water from the iron is not. The problem was so bad it rusted a hole in my ironing board and you need to let the clothes you have ironed dry before putting them away. I think Philips needs to go back to the old style iron that stood upright instead of laying down. This would alleviate some of the problem with the water dripping. I also miss the dial for different temperatures. I have used this iron constantly for more than two years and all I can say is I miss my old iron.
